Well here I go this is the 3rd time I have tried to get this done. First time I deleted my post because I couldn't correct the spelling on some of the words and I didn't want to come across as a total idiot. Second time I had just gotten finished with my most memorable Christmas memory and hit publish post and I got that stupid screen that said no Internet connection detected. My little daughter n law pulled the plug on the Internet last night no knowing what it went to. SO.....here goes if it doesn't work this time my memory will just have to float around out there in the universe somewhere.

My most memorable Christmas that i talk about and laugh about so often is when i was around 10 or 11 years old. We lived on Brittan Lane in Mr. Snodgrass's old rent house, and when i say old this place was old, you could see daylight through some of the walls in that old house. In my memory we were as poor as church mice. Mom went to town and came home with a little 4 footish tree and she bought all new red glass Christmas ball. It was on a Sunday night and everyone but me and mom had gone to church, ( I was Sick..hehe) and we decided to decorate the tree nothing but lights and red balls all over the tree. Just about the time that we hung the last ball on the tree we noticed something running up and down the tree. Did i say Church mice...how bout Christmas tree mouse.. Mom told me to put on an old leather welding glove in case we caught it. I thought for what... its just a mouse. Anyway to make a long story short we worked and worked up and down the tree trying to catch that silly mouse and in a blink finally it was in my hand and biting down as hard as a little mouse can bite. Of course i was screaming bloody murder. And wanting to keep the thing all at the same time (oh isn't it cute...can i keep it). We laughed and laughed and looked the tree up and down and realized that every one of those brand new red glass Christmas balls were broke. What a Griswald Christmas memory. If i live to be a hundred it is going to be really hard to top that Christmas
